The cottage was beautifully renovated and had a cozy and warm atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive. The bathroom was particularly gorgeous, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The candles added a nice touch and created a warm ambiance. The cottage was well appointed for its size and had all the necessary supplies in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a great view of the ocean right from the backyard.
The bathroom had a privacy challenge as the walls did not go all the way to the ceiling. Although it didn't greatly impact our stay, it might be something to consider for those who prefer more privacy.

Great value for the money, the cottage was well-furnished with attention to detail and had a vintage charm. The location near the sea was perfect and the staff, especially Margaret, were friendly and accommodating.
Menu for breakfast could have had more variety/options.

We stayed at Sea Side Cottages for one night during our trip. The owner, Margaret's brother, welcomed us and gave us the key. The cottage was warm and cosy, with a beautiful Nordic country style. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the kitchen had all the essentials. The owner's passion for woodworking was evident in the cottage's unique character and design. The location was amazing, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck outside, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was a perfect place for a romantic getaway. The cottages were hand-built and had so much charm, making our stay truly special.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Nestled in a beautiful coastal setting, this cozy little cottage offers a homey atmosphere and is equipped with everything you need. Its location is perfect for exploring the stunning south of Iceland, with easy access to the Golden Circle and picturesque waterfalls. Guests can also enjoy horseback riding on the nearby beach, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The cottage is well-furnished and tastefully decorated, creating a truly delightful ambiance.
Although the cottage offers a unique and vintage charm, it is worth mentioning that the bathroom is located in the basement, accessible via steep steps, which may not be ideal for those with limited mobility or young children. However, this minor inconvenience is outweighed by the overall appeal of the seaside cottage experience.

Great location near the sea with a pleasant smell of mussels in the air. Well-furnished cottage with attention to detail in a vintage style. The old-style bathtub in the bathroom is cool and unique. Enjoyed the best lobster soup and lobsters at a nearby restaurant in the neighboring village.
The bathroom is located in the basement, requiring you to climb stairs each time. The wooden floor in the cottage is quite creaky, so every step can be heard.
